Miller Point is known throughout MS for its turkey hunting.  The state of Mississippi has benefited greatly throughout the years from Miller Point’s turkey population.  In the 1950’s and 60’s the state game wardens trapped turkeys at Miller Point and placed them throughout the state to grow the turkey population in other areas.
